A fresh new bar has opened in Hanoi, Vietnam—born from the unique blend of an international team: Vii, a sweet-hearted Vietnamese entrepreneur with a deep love for nightlife; Gabriel, a Brazilian bartender who put his backpacking journey on pause to settle in the city; and Alex, a Canadian bartender, musician, and king of the Pub Crawl scene. Together, they brought to life a bar with a low vibes, low light concept, but one that fosters intense connections.

The Exit is a doorway that leads from Hanoi’s chaotic streets to a rooftop where unconventional music, signature cocktails, and an intimate atmosphere come together. The play of light and shadow reflects the duality of living and traveling in Hanoi—an ordered chaos, a raw beauty, a noisy silence. That’s why we chose to use a 2000s Cybershot camera for social media content creation—flash always on, of course. A vibe of: I don’t care how I look, but I feel like an indie culture icon.

The cocktail menu was photographed in the bar’s natural ambient lighting, using the contrasting lights from surrounding buildings and the focused glow of the counter’s spotlights.
